Tokyn Siberian Huskies

Big enough to win, small enough to care

Welcome to Tokyn Dogs, breeding Siberian Huskies since 1987.

Hi there, and welcome to Tokyn Dogs website.

Let me introduce myself a bit - I'm Jacqui Sercombe and have been showing Norwegian Buhunds since I was able to walk. Then in 1987 we got our first Siberian Husky.

We first started breeding under my Mum's affix, Trelowen (Sue Sercombe - Siberian Huskies and Norwegian Buhunds).

As I got older I made the choice to concentrate on the huskies whilst Mum was off showing the Buhunds.

In 2007 we got our first BSD Malinois. The main reason for looking for another breed was because of the separation of the Working and Pastoral breeds and some of the Championship shows splitting the days on which these were both shown. As we were still going on Working and Pastoral day I wanted a breed to show whilst Mum was off with the Buhunds. Although in the last couple of years I have started to spend more time around the Buhunds again and I am now back into showing this wonderful breed.

I don't think I ever had a choice as to whether I wanted to be involved with dogs. When I was born my Mum already had dogs, and as the years went on the numbers increased. I was then bitten by the bug of showing, so when I left home I wanted to continue the hobby.

Tokyn is my own affix .Tokyn (said Token) is Celtic and means Ticket.

Currently I show and breed these three wonderful breeds at home with my amazing son Joshua.

All my dogs are hip-scored and eye-tested before breeding, I try to breed for good character, health and working ability as well as good looks.

Our males are available at stud to approved bitches only.

Puppies some times available.
